'you know you are in the IB'
* Credits does not go to me except for the last one
YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN THE IB WHEN...
- you go to bed at 1am in the wee hours of the morning and think to yourself "YAY! I ACTUALLY GET TO SLEEP EARLY TONIGHT!!"
- you read your favourite novel of all time and this runs through your head "THERE IS ALLITERATION OVER HERE... OH! I SEE A SIMILE PRESENT IN THIS LINE... A METAPHOR AS WELL!! ... WOW! THERE IS A LEXICAL FIELD OF POWER AND DOMINATION IN THIS CHAPTER..."
- it is a normal friday in school and someone sees your long face and tells you to cheer up because the weekends are here and this is what you reply "I TOTALLY LOST TRACK OF TIME. ITS SATURDAY TOMORROW? I CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WEEKDAYS AND THE WEEKENDS ALREADY."
and the
NUMBER 1 reason why you know you are definitely in the IB is when
- you go to bed one night and you actually dream about BEING IN CLASS AND FAILING AN IMPORTANT ASSESSMENT.. THEN YOU LOSE CONTROL OVER YOURSELF AND START CRYING LIKE A BABY IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS
Oh yes.
The last event is based on my personal experience.
So what is the key message i am trying to convey to my readers?
Don't take the IB unless you have lots of stamina.
Otherwise, you are only out to make yourself suffer a slow death.
I'd rather die quickly, thankyou.
