Played scrabble after school today with the year 7s and 8s.
Aww..
They are really cute and quick-witted.
Looking at them reminds me of the care-free time i used to enjoy when i was little.
Humans are always not contented with what they have.
When i was in primary 5-6, i use to complain about having to do more than an hour of work at night.
Then i moved on to lower secondary and i use to wonder why i have to take so many subjects and the total workload increased by quite a fare bit.
Then came upper secondary, the 2years prior to GCE O Levels. Studying has never been that tough and i struggled to stop myself from doing too much frivolous and unnecessary things.
Now its the 2 years prior to IB.
Life has never been that insane.
The work load is so much that i have to work for 4-6 hours every night JUST TO GET HOMEWORK done. (though i must admit it included chatting and listening to music..)
Internal Assessments and essays pile up so high that it threatens to bury me underneath all those words.
Stress level is at an all time high (most of the time) as i try my best to meet datelines, produce quality work and meet the outstanding expectations that my teachers have for me.
However, somewhere within this horrible time of my life, school actually manages to become fun and enjoyable.
Lessons are hardly a bore (most of the time..) and the teachers are animated and jovial.
Crazy friends make me laugh till i get out of breath and the teasing gets really amusing.
I have to say that i am growing up.
Ive learnt to always look for the silver lining in the grey sky.
There are times when it can be REALLY DIFFICULT to find it,
but if you persevere,
the task is not impossible.
Dare to dream the impossible.
