Im officially 18 today!!
Actually i dont exactly feel ecstatic about the whole thing.
The presents are cool and everything but..
Okay.
Im going to say it.
Dont laugh after reading it.
i feel old
Yup.
Thats why.. i feel old.. 18 years have past since i was born. Thats a long way.
But i have an even longer journey ahead of me (i hope..) so very soon these 18 years would become part of an even larger number.
(Wonder how i will feel when i turn 21..)
Anyway, it was an enjoyable day. The cool weather contributed to the lovely feeling in me. However, it was not exactly the best day i could have because i have so much work to rush before school reopens on tuesday. Oh well. It could have been worse.

i actually mentioned to mummy that i wanted a balloon when we were walking home because i saw some kiddies carrying balloons.. to my surprise, she went and bought me this instead.

i actually didnt want a cake this time.. due to the crazy milk scare in china.. in the end i decided that a birthday without a birthday cake cannot be considered a birthday.. so yup. got one despite the scary thoughts that came along with it..

Before i forget, i want to express my thanks to all those who wished me a
HAPPY BIRTHDAY today.
Its really sweet of all of you to remember it even though i didnt mention it at all.
Had quite a few surprises and unexpected wishes.
Seems like some of the people whom i expected to remember this day didnt do so and some whom i didnt even think would remember my existence actually did...
This is life i guess.
Always expect the unexpected.Since i am now one year wiser (and older), i shall try to act more matured and 'adult-like'. hehehe..
Okayy.. even though it IS still my birthday now, i need to get on with my ee..
