Its more like a mental countdown to the start of my new school year.

have been doing my physics notes stuff again

I really dont like this chapter. It is so boring. Puts me to sleep instead of motivating me to study.

Shall start on my world literature essay tomorrow regardless of where i stop tonight for my physics.

Schools starting in a weeks time.
Time for me to get back to 'nerd-mode'.
But im still so hooked onto watching movies and dramas!!!

It does not help that im now reading the last installment to the HARRY POTTER series.. read the last book once before last year when i first bought the book but ive forgotten the main story line already.. ITS SO ADDICTIVE!! I spent like the whole day slacking..

Watched 27 dresses with mommy and meishi in the morning then had guitar lesson after that. Then spent the rest of the afternoon reading HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS. After dinner i surfed the net when i was suppose to be studying. And now, im blogging instead of doing my physics. Oh great. I promise, i will start immediately after i publish this post!!

Had been raining these few days.. because of it, the summer season does not seem that terrible for these few days. Hope it remains like this. But heard from Charlene that she did not go to school today because of the heavy rains that stopped her school bus from picking her up. hahaha.. great way to skip school eh?

OKay. enough of chatting. back to my beloved physics.

I LOVE PHYSICS AND PHYSICS LOVES ME.

i went out with my family to some old and poor part of shanghai last night..
i took some pictures of the place.
definitely evidence of poverty..

shanghai is a place where there are EXTREMELY RICH people and then there are the EXTREMELY POOR people.. so far i have seen quite a lot of poor people who live lives that are so different to ours..

im sitting on the swing of my patio now typing this post..
somehow the summer weather seems to have dwindled this two days over the weekend.. the temperature seems to have dropped to the normal levels (by that i mean that the tempt seems to be similar to singapore's weather..) ITS EVEN WINDY AND COOL NOW!!! =)

OKay.. when i finally find myself hardworking enough to post the pictures up i shall do so.

May do it later on tonight..

Time for me to work on my physics..
I have a whole chapter to self-study for this holidays and it is not even half done =(
Have to pull up my socks now and get it done.
I have loads to ask mr toppin after i return to school. So many things that are incomprehensible in the book.

my yoga teacher is really C.R.A.Z.Y!!
she really pushes us to our limits and i really mean it physically.
thought that i was going to cry out in pain when she put her whole body weight on top of me so that my head can touch my legs. (this is the normal sit and reach position.. one of the easiest movements to do already.. but then she actually makes me stretch until my legs end up touching my knees or legs!!)

still have yoga lessons tomorrow




BUT IM STILL A HAPPY GIRL AS IT IS STILL THE SUMMER HOLS =)

Just got home from the market with my mother.
This chinese-yy market is filled with the local people here.

The main thing that i want to say is:

THE WAY THAT THEY KILL THE LIVE FISH IS REALLY YUCKY!!

But i guess it is because this is the first time that ive seen people kill a live fish. Guess i will not have much appetite to eat this fishy.. =(

BUT!!

but the fresh steam fish that my mummy cooks is really tasty..

aww..
but i feel mean eating the poor fishy..

Feeling normal today. haha.. this seems like a redundant post to me but i really felt like posting something on my blog. so i decided to take pictures of some areas of my house to post.

Meishin has gone to school today. First day of school for the new year.
This makes me sad.. that means that i would have to go back to school soon as well.. not looking forward to the last year in school.. because the last year would mean HARD WORK and who likes to work hard??

seriously, my room is like the dream type of room i have always wanted to have. the type that you will see in those english movies where the little girl's room have this ledge in the room where she can put her toys.. even though mine isnt very spacious, i have to say i still LOVE IT A LOT =)

this is the patio in my house.. my sisters and i nagged my parents to buy a swing for us to sit on.. somehow the patio seems to have a wooden feel to it.. nice right?? =D

I just finished cutting my youngest sister's hair. She's so cute with short hair!! But she doesnt believe me.. hahaha.. I remember feeling the same way as her when i had really SUPER DUPER SHORT HAIR but my mum kept on telling me that its really nice.

I was so afraid that meishin was going to cry when she realised how short her hair was. Thank goodness she didnt. PHEW. i will feel really terrible if she cried. Afterall, i didnt mean for her hair to turn out that short but oh well.. since it is shorter, it will mean that i dont need to cut it for some time now..

Went shopping with my mummy and sisters today.
We went to SUPERBRAND MALL which can be considered one of the more popular shopping malls in Shanghai.
Didnt really buy anything but had a good time walking around and taking in the sights of fashion.

Seriously, it is really fun to live in a country with 4 seasons.
Do you know that they are now having summer sales and starting the autumn fashion already?? And summer has not even ended..

Oh well.. today is a special day to relax i guess, since meishin is now going back to school on wednesday...

Talking about school, i still have tons of essays that are not even touched on at the moment. Guilty conscience working up now.

Guess its time to start looking at my essay topics already.

Watched the olympic table tennis finals just now.
Even though i knew right from the start that Singapore did not really have a chance to beat China's strong team, i have to say that i felt a little disappointed at the end results.

The worst thing had to be the commentary given by two ladies.
OMG. I FELT LIKE STRANGLING THEM. Obviously being in China would mean that they will be biased towards their own country but it doesnt have to be THAT obvious does it. Whenever China gains an extra point they will shout 真是太棒了！！ Then they will go on to boast about that player's achievements. When Singapore scores, they will concentrate on saying why that player is not as powerful as her opponent. My sisters and i were screaming at the commentators like lunatics. It has alway been like that for every olympic even that i have watched so far but ive never felt so irritated. I guess the feeling is more intense when the opponent that they are criticizing is your OWN COUNTRY.

Anyway, i have to say this..
CONGRATS TO THE PLAYERS!!!!
YOU ALL HAVE DONE YOUR BEST AND SPORE IS PROUD OF ALL OF YOU =)

Okay. After ranting i think i should have vented all of my anger already.

The people at TPJC are really working hard now.. Prelims are next week already so most of them are mugging really hard.

Back to my integration exercises.

WOAH.
After a month or so of my summer holidays, im starting to fall sick. hee....
I have to say that it has been really fun returning to spore and going to malaysia to see my relatives. The time spent there passes so quickly!!! Indeed time passes really quickly when you are having fun. OH WELL...

I should have taken a video of my classemates' faces when i stepped into class. HAHAHAHA... I cant believe that none of you could recognise me. How is that possible? I dont look that different do i.. No i dont.. hahaha..
I cant believe that everyone just stared at me like i was a total stranger before someone finally registered my name in their minds and shouted my name.. It took them like 10 seconds before any of them made a sound. After that i was told that they were being scolded ealier in the lesson by Mrs Lim, my physics teacher. I had totally no idea.. afterall, Mrs Lim was smiling the whole time i was in the class. Wonder why i didnt feel the tension in the class when i walked in.. All i can say is that i made Mrs Lim's mood take a 180 degrees turn with my presence. =D

It was rather hilarious.. I totally forgot which floor you lived on so i had to try a few floors before i finally got the right floor. I was so glad that you could still recognize my voice.

ME: "Hello.. Is this subashini??"
SHINI: "YES?"
ME: "Subashini..... do you know who i am??"
(silence for a while...)
SHINI: "OH MY GOD MEISHAN!!! WHERE ARE YOU? ARE YOU BACK? WHOSE NUMBER IS THIS??"
ME: "Open the door."
SHINI: "WHAT?"
ME: "Just open the door okay??"
SHINI: (going hysterical)

HAHAHAHAHA.. and when she finally opened the door for me, she went totally mad. AND, SHE TOLD ME TO GO AND DIE. Sadly for her, my youngest sister was present during this supposedly-I-thought-it-was-going-to-be-a-touching scene and she went and tell my parents that she asked me to go and die after that..

WAHAHAHAHA.

But seriously, i got so many angry exclamations when i returned.

"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US EARLIER THAT YOU ARE COMING BACK??"

I did it on purpose of course, what else do you expect?? Ive been planning on surprising all of you when i return to spore for holidays so i definitely wont spoil my own happiness by telling any of you that im back for holidays right...
